Frequently Asked Questions
Are all of your bamboo-based products 100% biodegradable?
All of our bamboo products are entirely plant-based, fully compostable, and can be safely recycled. While we design all our products to last as long as possible, there will eventually come a time for them to be replaced. When you’ve finished with them you can simply place them into a compost bin or incorporate them into a home craft project.
Are your bamboo utensils dishwasher safe?
Our bamboo utensil sets are 100% dishwasher safe, but you must turn off the ‘hot and dry’ function to avoid potential warping. It’s also best to use a brush with gentle bristles to clear your cutlery of any debris. Alternatively, you can wash our utensils by hand, either in warm water and soap or in a vinegar and salt blend.
How long does bamboo cutlery typically last?
Our premium bamboo utensil sets are crafted using resilient, long-lasting bamboo shoots. That paired with top-grade tree resin gives our cutlery one of the longest lifespans on the market. Not only does they last for upwards of 6 months (with proper care), but they can also very easily be recycled or repurposed.
Can your PEVA BPA-free bags be stained by food and how do I clean them?
While some foods - such as curry or tomato sauce - can stain our PEVA resealable bags, there are several methods to get them as clean as new again. One of the best ways to do this is to rub a mix of baking soda and warm water into the inside of the bag and let it stand for a day before rinsing clean.
Why do you use bamboo for your utensils and toothbrushes?
Each of our bamboo utensil sets is made from consciously cultivated organic bamboo shoots that we source from eco-friendly plantations. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing, widely available plants in the world – with over a 1000 species internationally. This is what gives all of our utensils, straws, and toothbrushes their sustainable status.
Are your PEVA BPA-free resealable bags safe to use with food?
Our food grade, BPA-free PEVA reusable bags are made from a non-toxic material that avoids the use of chlorine and other petroleum-based chemicals. As such, our consciously sourced bags can safely store produce and snacks without exposing them to harmful, synthetic materials.
Why is PEVA better than other types of plastics?
Unlike other synthetic plastics, the PEVA we use for our resealable bags is 100% biodegradable and non-chlorinated, which makes it one of the most environmentally friendly materials available.
Is it safe to use your beeswax food wraps if you have a nut allergy?
Our wraps are produced by an expert team in an environment that doesn’t manufacture any nut-based goods. While we work to ensure there are no nuts involved in our manufacturing process, we cannot guarantee you won’t have a reaction. This is why we advise all customers to tread carefully with all food-based items.
Can you freeze beeswax food wraps?
Our organic beeswax food wraps are one of the most versatile food containment options available. Not only are they completely self-sealing and air-tight, but they can also be used alongside a number of cold food preservation systems, including fridges and freezers.

To better integrate our organic bamboo cotton make-up wipes with your beauty regime, we have worked to make them as versatile as possible. This means our “soft on skin”, “tough on make-up” material can be used alongside your favorite skin cleansing products.
